Emergent or Remediations

The Link between Orthography & Phonemic Awareness Skills

Reading is a complex skill structured off a solid foundation of phonological processing.  Problems in reading emerge from poor phonemic awareness skills and not being able to decode the language in a method that makes sense to the reader. For the emergent reader, an effective direct phonics instruction program (teaching phonemic awareness) and practice on the part of the reader, he/she can develop the skills necessary for proficient reading. Reading remediation gives students the right tools for the task to catch up through fine tuning their phonemic awareness skills.   Why not be proactive and reduce extra remediation time?

In the patented method of French Sounds, the language is decoded in a method that readers will develop a solid foundation in phonemic instruction to be successful in sound blending, orthography, and comprehension.  French Sounds is the patented method of French pronunciation rules that incorporates phonemic segmenting.  French Sounds builds the students abilities, while building a confident positive attitude that "I can... SUCCEED!"

This tool is excellent for those learning a new language.  French Sounds eliminates the frustration of not understanding what another is trying to say by being able to hear/produce the correct pronunciation of the word.  French Sounds assists in the four strands of learning to read, write, speak and listen to the French language.

Children learn at their own paces.

We believe that if people can

🍉  See and touch the letters,

🍉  Say the letters out loud &

          🍉  Hear the sounds,

the learning process of phonemic awareness skills is enhanced. You gain confidence, and your desire to learn is strengthened. It eases frustrations and builds confidence to want to learn.

We guarantee that we'll help your child catch up or even get ahead.

Phonological Procesing, Phonemic Awareness

Phonetic processing is the ability to take letter combinations and form one phoneme.

Phonological awareness is the manipulation of sound and is a predictor of one's reading ability.

There are many ways in the French language to say the same sound. It is important to be able to identify what combinations make which sound and how to apply that letter combination into the grammatical language structure to be able to build a simple vocabulary, to gain reading comprehension and confidence.

This tool is excellent for those learning a new language.  French Sounds eliminates the frustration of not understanding what another is trying to say by being able to hear/produce the correct pronunciation of the word.
